DS75, LSWR Railway
Bo-Bo Electric, 750V dc 3rd Rail Built in 1898 by the LSWR and Siemens (London), 75S was a four wheel third rail electric shunter for the Waterloo & City tube line. British Railways later renumbered it DS75 and it continued to work until being withdrawn in 1968 after a serious electrical fire. It was moved to Brighton where it remained in store until 1977 when it was transferred to the National Railway Museum. |
