22 and 25 (later PWM1779 and PWM1780), Motor Rail 4wPM

The GWR ordered two 2ft. 0in. gauge  4wPM Straight Channel Frame 20hp Petrol Tractors built 1930 with Dorman 2JO petrol engines. They allocated the numbers 22 (w/n 5031) and 25 (w/n 5074). By 1948, they were at the Hayes Creosoting Depot, with their new BR PWM numbers. These were PWM1779 (25) and PWM1780 (22). They both left Hayes in February 1951 and were seen at a number of locations.

PWM1779 sent to H.S.B. Whitley, Engineering Department, St. Austell and later at Perrenwell. in 1948, it was at Hayes Creosoting Depot. it left Hayes in 1951 and was disposed of to General Plant Reconstruction Limited, Cardiff, in 1955.

PWM1780 seems to have been sent to Banbury GWR Engineer's Department on the 14th January 1930 and later seen at Westbury. It seems to have been at Hayes Creosoting Depot in 1948. It left Hayes in 1951 and allocated to Theale Engineers Yard but was withdrawn in 1952. It was later spotted at Cardiff Cathays  Engineers Yard in March 1958 but was later sent to Swindon Works for disposal in October 1962.
